
About Us​
History of ICS Theatre
ICS Theatre, part of ICS East Brunswick, was established in 2014. ICS Theatre has staged several successful productions, from classics like Moliere's Tartuffe to one-act plays like It's About Time, the theatre workshop production of Twelve Incompetent Jurors to productions like The Masrayana, Silence! The Court is in Session, Chak De Chekhov!!, Romance in the Garden, Rakt Phera and Chekhov Express.

ICS Theatre has been fortunate to have worked under the guidance of renowned directors such as Dr. Farley Richmond and Mr. Mahesh Dattani. Our plays have been staged at several prestigious theatre festivals like the South Asian Theater Festivals in NJ and Ohio, and Natya Darpan, NJ.
Mission
In the ever-changing theatrical landscape, ICS Theatre seeks to provide high quality, entertaining and educational experiences to the local and global community as well as encourage and promote participation by local community members. It is an inclusive theatre group which is committed to broadening its reach and scope. ICS Theatre strives to offer a spectrum of theatrical activities like acting, playwriting, directing, music production, workshops, stagecraft technology, and backstage opportunities to all individuals and groups.

The Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick, our parent organization, provides families of Indian origin – and those with interest in India – avenues to celebrate and share in its diversity and to stay connected to its traditions, heritage, and innovations. Through regular social and cultural events and volunteer activities, ICS of East Brunswick, creates a forum to create fellowship among its members and foster strong relationships in the community.
