ICS Theatre is excited to announce the 2026 Emerging Artists Playwriting Contest in collaboration with the East Brunswick Schools. The winning script will be further developed, and a rehearsed staged reading will be performed. The playwright will also receive a cash award and be recognized in ICS events. All students in grades 7-12 attending Churchill Junior High or East Brunswick High School are encouraged to participate in this wonderful opportunity. If we receive a good quantity and quality of submissions, we may extend the award to two writers, representing both Junior High and High Schools.
